A Publishing House
Rooted in Black culture.
Written in dark ink.
New titles, submission windows, and news from the House. No spam. Just housekeeping.
Publishing for
Black American
fantasy & horror
JAVAHouse is an independent press dedicated to Black American voices in speculative fiction: the fantastical, the horrific, and the worlds that live at the crossroads between them.
We believe Black imagination is boundless. Witches, vampires, epic quests, hauntings. If it belongs to Fantasy or Horror, it belongs here.
“Some doors open from the other side.”
